Sbasgaard of the forums helped out the 1&1 hosted community by offering these instructions if you get a server 500 error while installing the headway theme. Check it out:
The Solution to the Error 500 – Internal Server Error
- Create a file called “php.ini” in the /wp-admin/ directory of your blog.
- In the file add the text “memory = 20MB” without the quotes.
That’s it! Once the file upload limit is increased, you should be able to install headway without problem.
